Hiring the premises

We want our building to be available for and used by the community as much as possible so here’s some information about the building:

Church Hall & other rooms

Accessed from the back entrance of the church on Marlborough Road, there is a large hall with a wooden floor, which has a good-sized adjacent room and equipped kitchen.  The room can accommodate up to 30 chairs; the hall significantly more and both the hall and room are hired for a multiple of uses.  The kitchen is included with any hire of the hall or smaller room.

Please note that unfortunately, we don’t hire the premises out for parties.

The church itself

A Grade II listed building, built in 1882 and retaining many of the original features including pews and octagonal baptistery.  It seats approximately 300 people.  It has excellent acoustics, as well as an organ installed in 1884 by Messrs Hill and Son of London, which is used for the occasional service but more often at weddings.
