Connect
We meet every Sunday morning at 10.30am in our building on Victoria Avenue, not far from the centre of Harrogate.
There’s provision for our children and young people – they stay in for the first part of worship and then go out to age appropriate groups, including our creche.
We're thrilled to be part of the Renew Wellbeing family, hosting a regular wellbeing space to offer the local community - a place where it's 'ok not to be ok'.
It’s good to get together and chat. Our monthly Connections group gives an opportunity to connect, in our Community Hall over a cup of tea or coffee and some home-baked treats. We meet on the third Wednesday of every month from 2-3.30pm. Why not join us?>
Spending time together outside of a Sunday morning is important and that’s why a number of people within the fellowship meet during the week to spend time looking at the bible and praying together as a way of supporting each other. It’s a great way to feel more connected in the church – as one Christian leader said ‘it’s a place which you know and can be known’. Meeting in homes on a Tuesday morning and Tuesday evenings, house-groups reflect the relational aspect of the church.
Throughout the year, we host multiple prayer events including prayer and praise nights, and prayer walks.
Giving to others and sharing the love of Jesus is a vital aspect of Christian faith and so as a church, we support multiple charities, either on a regular basis or at specific times of the year such as during Lent and Advent.
Baptism is a public declaration of faith, a way for us to show others and God that we follow the Christian faith, and believe that Jesus is the Son of God, who died and rose again for all who believe in Him
Fellowship and community are key to life at Harrogate Baptist Church.
