Welcome to Harrogate Baptist Church

Thank you for visiting our website!  We are a welcoming community of God’s people who meet together for worship each Sunday morning.  There’s provision for our children during the service and communion is served once a month.

There’s also something for all ages happening during the week with House Groups, Messy Church, Youth Cell Group, uniformed organisations and our CAMEO luncheon group for older folk.  Have a look around the website for more information.

All of which helps us grow in faith, develop our our relationship with Jesus and with others and serve the community around us.  It would be great to welcome you into our community ~ we look forward to meeting you.

Can anything good come out of Harrogate apart from Farrah's toffee, tea and sulphur water? Charles Dickens visited the town in 1858 and described it as “the queerest place with the strangest people in it leading the oddest lives… “

Meet one former resident, former President of the Baptist Union, Roy Searle, leader of Northumbria Community, Northern Pioneer Coordinator, and Northern College Baptist Tutor at Cranmer Hall, Durham and come to your own conclusion!

We welcome you to Harrogate Baptist Church if you are attending the assembly and invite you to our  Sunday gathering on the 14th May at 10.30am

Hosted by Roy Searle and Ann Chesworth

A service with a difference as we worship, share and listen to Roy in conversation with Ann Chesworth, the present minister and Yorkshire Baptist Association team member, who was born just before the time Roy was baptised at the church.
