After 2 years of hard work by Jonothan Potter and the Redevelopment Team the proposed work has been submitted to BULBAC for listed building approval.
Unfortunately the scheme has not been approved and the Church is now seeking a way forward to make the building habitable as a place of worship that can be used also by the local community.
Neville Brooksbank has been asked to produce a modest scheme that would be acceptable to the BULBAC. This will have to be submitted before the end of 2014 so as not to incur extra fees.
On 21st October 2014 at a Special Church Members Meeting Neville Brooksbank presented his plans and after some discussion the meeting agreed that the plans would be submitted to the BULBAC for approval.
A letter from BULBAC dated 18 March 2015 has been received stating that the Committee has not yet been able to approve the plans and setting out what needs to be done to obtain approval.
